Pomexpo Norooz Bazaar 2026
New York City
Pomexpo Norooz Bazaar is a curated Persian cultural event in New York City, bringing together artists, vendors, and community to celebrate Norooz.
This year’s Norooz was different.
It was not only a celebration of the new year, but a moment of remembrance, reflection, and unity. Held in Manhattan, our 2026 gathering brought more than 4,000 people together, not just to celebrate, but to stand with one another during a deeply emotional time for our community.
At the heart of the space was a dedicated memorial honoring the lives lost in Iran. Guests paused, wrote messages, and quietly reflected — creating a shared moment of grief, love, and connection. Nearby, a wish tree stood at the center of the gathering, filled with handwritten hopes, prayers, and messages — a symbol of collective voice and resilience.
Many also chose to give back, contributing to support survivors in Iran, turning presence into action, and remembrance into impact.
Around it all, the spirit of Norooz still lived and breathed — through art, music, food, and tradition. People connected, supported one another, and found strength in simply being together.
This was more than an event.
It was a reminder that even in the hardest moments, community brings us closer, and culture keeps us rooted.
A Norooz held with both heavy hearts and hopeful spirits.
A moment of unity we will never forget.
